Privacy Policy

How we handle your details.

Short version: we only collect what we need to quote and complete your job, we don't sell or share it, and you can ask us to delete it any time.

What we collect.

When you request a quote through the website, call, or email us, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Job details (description, dates, preferred times)
  • Job location(s) — pickup, drop-off, or site address
  • Optional site photos you upload

We also collect basic technical data when you visit the site — IP address, browser type, referrer — via server logs and analytics (Google Analytics 4, if enabled). This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.

Why we collect it.

Only to do our job:

  • Calculate your quote using travel time from our depot
  • Contact you to confirm the booking and arrange the job
  • Invoice and complete payment after the work is done
  • Understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties for marketing. We do not use it for advertising retargeting unless you've explicitly consented via an ad platform we use.

Who processes it.

Your data is handled by us and by a small set of third-party service providers that make the site work. These providers process data on our behalf:

  • Vercel Inc. — website hosting and delivery
  • Google LLC — travel time calculation (Distance Matrix API) and analytics (Google Analytics 4)
  • Resend Inc. — sending the quote submission email to us

Each provider has its own privacy practices. Some may store data on servers outside Australia (notably the United States). By using the site, you consent to this cross-border transfer for the limited purposes above.

How long we keep it.

Quote submissions sit in our email inbox indefinitely unless you ask us to delete them. Financial records (invoices) are retained for seven years as required by Australian tax law. Website analytics data is retained in Google Analytics for up to 14 months by default.

Cookies.

The site uses strictly necessary cookies to function (for example, the maintenance-mode bypass cookie). If Google Analytics is enabled, it sets analytics cookies to measure site usage. No advertising cookies are set by us.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, but the quote tool and some other features may not function as expected.

Your rights.

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold about you
  • Request a copy of that information
  • Ask us to correct or delete information that is inaccurate or no longer needed
  • Complain about how we have handled your information

To make any of these requests, email info@susacranes.com. We'll respond within 30 days.

Complaints.

If you think we've mishandled your information, contact us first and we'll try to sort it quickly. If you're not satisfied, you can escalate to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page will change when we do. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage.
